For the Worshipping Intercessor

Hi Team,

I'm a part of a prayer blog, and this was my post for tonight. Thought I would share it with ya'll.

Okay, ya'll. I think the Lord is saying something either to me, or to all of us. I'm going with all of us.

Tonight on Facebook, two distinct and separate people on my friends list posted old band & drill team photos. They do not know one another. I immediately thought, "The Lord is saying something here."

I think of a band of worshippers & musicians leading the battle. I think of the triumphal appearance of a stately drill team marching in unison and truthfully, in beauty. A majestic beauty. Onward Christian Soldiers is a tune that comes to mind. Here's the scripture I hear and see:

“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are saved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things?" 2 Corinthians 2:14-16

In band and drill team world, and battle world for that matter, if you're marching you're sweating, and if you're sweating...you're sweating. Which means you're also emitting a fragrance. How incredible that we emit His fragrance in the heat of the battle....to some leading to life, to others leading to death.

To this I say, "March on." Follow in step. Stay in position. Our eternal God and Saviour is leading us into a certain victory.
