Pretty Amazing Details About Worship at Covenant of Grace

12.19.2009

Our Christmas Sunday

Hi everyone! It's almost Christmas Day. I have had such a fun time listening to music, planning, and it has become (finally) a joyful experience. I have just watched God do some pretty amazing things over these last few days, and it's been my reminder of not only His love for me, but how much He cares for His sheep....that would be US! I have had to rely upon Him for just about everything, every small detail, and I have found Him incredibly faithful. For me, His faithfulness has brought joy into this season. I hope that is becoming your experience as well.

Tomorrow is a big, early day! We're having a double header so to speak, as we will be rehearsing the regular worship team from 8 - 9 or 9:30 or so. (I will be bringing muffins and juice for breakfast so you can eat after the break at 9 or so.) Then I will be working with the children from 9:30 to 10:30.

Tomorrow's lineup is:

Singers ready to sing at 8 a.m.:
Mario (with Pastor Len and Kathy on lower level platform)

Michelle
Kirsty
Matthew
Melvina

Band: ready to go at 7:30
Kathy - WL
Pastor Len- E. Guitar
Wayne- Bass
Drums-Rene

Sound: Mike A. & David L. (please set up Percussion for Mario next to Singers for one of our songs.) Kirsty will not be bringing her flute tomorrow.

EW: Marshia for our corporate worship time, Michelle for Children's program.

Worship is about 15 - 20 minutes tomorrow. Announcements, Offering, Advent, and then a children's program, then Pastor Leonard's message.

Still haven't decided the final selection for tomorrow, but I know it will be Christmasy, and also, please listen to "Holy Emmanuel" from 2 Sunday's ago's post as I KNOW we will be doing that one for sure. It's so much fun!

Hey, ya'll be praying for the Children's Program for tomorrow. It was a little crazy today, but there was amazing peace and cooperation among everyone, and I went away very blessed and even more excited.

Christmas Eve Service: Coming up! I'll be in touch with ya'll very soon on that.

KATHY
